Utada Hikaru
I realized that Utada Hikaru was kind of lost in the shuffle on this blog. So to rectify that here are some pics of the lovely and super talented Utada. She's pretty much my favorite Japanese pop star. I never get tired of her songs. And she looks a bit like my ex-wife. Or maybe I should say my ex-wife looks like her ;-)

Amuro Namie
Arguably THE Japanese pop star of the late 90s and early 2000s, Namie Amuro. She's from Okinawa and is actually one quarter Italian, seems to be quite a nice combination of genes! Her 1997 hit "Can you celebrate?" has been played at countless Japanese wedding parties. I had the video of that song on here earlier, but the link no longer works, oh well.
